The Challenge

Navigating Pakistan's complex financial regulations, taxation tiers, and government compensation structures is notoriously difficult for everyday citizens and civil servants. Key information—such as FBR income tax slabs, revised Basic Pay Scales (BPS), GP Fund interest formulations, and provincial pension rules across Punjab, Sindh, KPK, and Balochistan—is historically fragmented across obscure gazettes, PDFs, and disconnected portals.

The Solution

I designed and engineered HisaabKit, a comprehensive, responsive web platform dedicated to making Pakistani financial and civic calculations accessible, fast, and transparent. The platform provides interactive calculators for FBR income tax, salary breakdowns, provincial and federal pensions, GP Fund accumulations, and BPS pay stages, alongside Islamic finance tools for Zakat and inheritance. The system also features a guided HisaabKit Assistant for interactive query support, an SEO-optimized architecture with structured data, and a Sanity CMS integration for publishing detailed guides and official government updates.
